A WORLD FIRST IN LEVEL PROBES

Synatel have launched a new patented rotary level probe using a Stepper Motor drive instead of a geared synchronous motor. This allows a direct drive from the motor to the paddle eliminating the need for a gearbox or clutch. The manufacturer claims that this makes the new system virtually indestructible.

Other benefits include bidirectional rotation to prevent material compaction against sidewalls, and electronic variable torque control allowing a single paddle to meet every application. Motor current and rotation monitoring gives fail safe operation and the unit will operate on supplies of 24 V dc, 110/230v ac. Wire rope extensions up to 2 metres long are available for top entry high, level applications. The unit incorporates an adjustable time delay on material arriving or leaving.
