HAZEMAG Crushing Plant with Wobbler Feeder

for the Calusco Cement Works in Italy

HAZEMAG & EPR GmbH has been successful in winning the contract from Italcementi for the supply of a new primary crushing plant to be installed in its Calusco Cement Works at Colle Pedrino. With this plant concept, the quarried material is extracted from a chute-hole by a rugged apron conveyor. Since the material contains a high percentage of fines, a HAZEMAG wobbler feeder is installed upstream of the impactor, in order to remove the 0 80 mm fraction from the material flow, and thus relieving the impactor of these abrasive and superfluous fines. The screening surface of the feeder grate comprises a number of rotating shafts with defined spaces through which the fines can pass. Triangular discs are fitted over the lengths of the shafts according to the degree of separation required, the shape of the discs facilitating the conveying movement and minimising the danger of clogging.

The crushing process is effected by the successful and well-proven HAZEMAG Impactor Type AP-PMH 2022, which is already showing its capabilities in a number of Italcementi crushing plants. In addition to the rugged and robust GSK-type rotor, the impactor is characterised in particular by its hydraulic impact apron support and adjustment system. The new plant has been designed to handle up to 1,000 tons/hr, also taking into consideration the fact that the material flow to the impactor may comprise only very coarse material for crushing. HAZEMAG is responsible for supplying the complete plant, including cranes, dust collecting plant, impactor discharge belt and magnet separator.
