The layout described is the worst case condition in terms of height requirement.
How come there is only one receiving conveyor???
What and where is the crusher? ■

How You Solve: Feeding Arrangement To Screen

Dear Members,
Recently came across typical query of feeding to a screen. Two type of feedings are possible either in line or in angle say perpendicular. Due to layout constraints the receiving conveyor need to be taken out in perpendicular direction, so screen and crushers are installed in line with receiving conveyor (i.e. perpendicular to feeding conveyor)
Can you please tell what are the disadvantaged of perpendicular feeding to screens? What precautions should we take? In inevitable conditions can we go with such arrangements? or only inline feeding to be considered all the time?
Please share your valuable suggestions.
Regards,
Amol
