In one of our ongoing projects, we have requirement of storing limestone in RCC silos each of approx 1000 MT capacity. Following clarification are required with respect to above.

a) Is RCC silo with flat bottom viable or necessary we need to have conical bottom.

b) In case conical bottom is preferred, what is recommened angle/slope to be maintained considering both fluidised or non-fluidised condition.

c) Is limestone fluidisable for size distribution given below

100% < 1 mm

80% < 0.2mm

50% < 0.16mm

90% > 0.04mm

d) Pneumatic conveying behaviour - Dilute or dense for above particle distribution and conveying distance of 300 m.
