Martin Engineering, Neponset, Illinois-based supplier of systems to improve the handling of bulk materials, has announced the formation of a new business unit, the Martin Engineering Services Group (MESG).
The new unit will focus on the development of Martin Engineering’s Advanced Conveyor Technologies including MARTIN® S-CLASS™ Air-Supported Conveyors and MARTIN® INERTIAL FLOW™ Transfer Chutes.
The formation of this unit will provide a significant new business direction for Martin Engineering, according to Martin Engineering president Scott Hutter. “The new unit will offer specialized focus and improved service for the development of sophisticated projects in the material-handling industries.” MESG will work with consultants and engineering firms as an equipment designer/supplier on ‘greenfield’ projects, and work directly with end users on projects for the retrofit of existing plants.
Joining Martin Engineering as President of the new group will be Steve Laccinole. Laccinole has over thirty years experience in project planning, design, engineering, construction and commissioning, including extensive experience in bulk material handling and heavy industrial projects. Previously, Laccinole served as President and Principal of Selpeco Resources, Inc.
MESG will operate from Kirkland, Washington. Martin Engineering’s corporate headquarters remains in Neponset, Illinois.
Since 1944, Martin Engineering, Neponset, Illlinois, has made bulk materials handling cleaner, safer, and more productive. MARTIN® Products are available from subsidiaries, licensees and authorized representatives around the world.
