i'm a portuguese student of chemical engineering and i'm doing a experimental work on "storage, transportation, separation and mixture of 2 solids (powders)". i'm laking information on this subject.
the experiment is:
- 2 solids with diferent diameters (2mm and 10microm) are mixed and stored in a silo (??). The mixture enters in a pipe with 2 curves (standard elbow 90º) as is sent to system of 2 cyclones were the solids will be separated. the 1st ciclone's eficiency was 99% on bigger particles and 11% on smaller particles, whereas the second present an efficiency of 90% on smaller particles. the flow rate is 150dm3/min. Pressure detectors were placed in each curve to measure the pressure drop.
can you tell me sites/books were i can find the information i need to cover all this aspects?
