Re: Moisture Analyzer

Dear Mr Dilip,

Döscher & Döscher (Hamburg, Germany) have developed a microwave-based moisture measurement technology that allows for fast and precise measurements in the product stream. The method is particularly suited for all natural materials - such as bagasse and husk. The method enables reliable and reproducible measurements independent of density, colour and structure of the product.

Probes, which are insensitive to contamination, can easily be integrated into conveyer belt systems.

Our experience with bagasse is in dried materials with moisture contents of up to 18 %.

For further information, check out our website at www.doescher.com. To supply you with more details, it would be helpful for us to know what sort of moisture ranges you would want to measure. In case you are interested in any of our products you could also contact our representative in India.

Best Regards,

Jörn Döscher

Dear Mr. Dilip,

WipWare supplies particle size analysis systems for conveyor belts regardless of size, speed or size of material. The pioneer of photoanalysis technology, WipWare products provide a much more accurate sieving procedure, a continuous monitoring of material passing, and instant sieve results. Visit www.wipware.com, or contact Mark- mark.wagner@wipware.com for more information. These photoanalysis systems are being used above and below ground and can withstand some of the harshest industry conditions. I am interested in hearing about your specific operation.

WipWare is the global leader in photoanalysis technology.

If moisture analysis is what you are looking for, I would recommend using MoistScan® products. If you are located in Canada, contact Thomas Palangio for more information on MoistScan® products. If your operation is located outside of Canada, contact Gary France at Callidan headquarters in Australia for further information. Once again, these moisture analyzers are extremely effective and can work in almost any condition. www.bonfieldgroup.com, www.callidan.com

Callidan supplies a wide range of moisture analyzers, including Microwave systems that offer exceptional results.

Best regards,

Mark Wagner

MoistTech is very experienced with bagasse moisture requirements in the production of bagasse. their sensor calibrations, measurement wavelengths, algorithms and sensor optical requirements are pre-set at the factory. Typical accuracy is about ±0.1% moisture. Typical analog range is 0-10% moisture and up to as much as 40%, subject to application. The outputs can be adjusted to optimize PLC or recording requirements.
