Conveying Speed of Material

What would be the conveying speed of material (in feet per minute) over the screen surface of a gyratory screener type at 10 degrees incline? I want to evaluate the bed depth over the screen surface. I know that VSMA uses 75 fpm for inclined screen at slope of 20, and 45 fpm for horizontal screen with oval & straight motion. What about a gyratory motion?

Thank you. Regards. ■

I UNDERSTAND you determined it was a ROTEX....and further determined that its FPM travel rate was 80 FPM. any rotex users out there, able to confirm this rate of travel by chance? ■

Inclination of 10 degrees is on the high side if this is a Rotex. The combination of the motion of the screener and the inclination will generally define the conveying rate. If you are using a Rotex screener, I would recommend to contact your Rotex representative to get more specific information.

If you send me your details, I will forward to the right person to talk to. ■
