Open pile storying system

Dear members,

we would like to have your technical input and advice for the following problem:

lime stone crushed aggregates ( from jaw crasher ) 0-200mm, capacity 1330 t/h are coming from a quarry and building an open pile

of 6,500 ton. the pile is sitting on a bunker with 1/1m opening in its center.

we are looking for a solution to avoid using portable tractors for the dead load material. it is possible to build concrete walls in order to limit

the edges of the pile if a solution required it. the preferred solution is concentrating the dead load material into one or two conveyors at the bottom of the pile directed to the central opening.

I'm with Lyle. There is something you're not telling us.

If you build your walls you will lose capacity. If you introduce belt conveying structure space you will lose capacity.

If the problem is FEL turning circles then go down to Bobcats.

John, Lyle

thanks for your inputs.

building concrete walls can be executed if the solution required.

we definitely don't want to loose capacity ( 6,500 t )

FEL is working now but we would like to avoid it by using smart solution for convey the flat bottom of the pile to the center.

any suggestions?

Is it possible that you need to control the dispersion of your stockpile. If so then it can be sprayed with Dust Stop which is a film type 100% Environmentally friendly solution to keep your pile in place yet it is still very easy to access it whenever required.

I agree with john and lyle;

the only way you will gain anything is to use a WR Stamler reclaimer with a small tracked excavator with(80-90 ton class) and dipper bucket with your situation
