ENELPOWER ORDERED FOUR CONTINUOUS SHIPUNLOADERS TO TECHINT TECHNOLOGIES
An important contract has been signed between Enelpower, the Italian energy producer and Techint Technologies (Italy).
Enel selected Techint for the turn-key contract covering 2 continuous shipunloaders (CSUs) 1500 tph each for coal to be installed at the newly coal reconverted Torrevaldaliga Nord Power Plant and 2 other CSUs with a capacity of 1800 tph each to be installed at Enel Federico II Power Plant located in Brindisi; an option for a third CSU for Brindisi Power station is also part of this contract. The order includes three years of maintenance service to be performed by Techint at both installations.
The undisputable CSU technological leadership, the environmental-friendly design of the machines and the reliability gained in their maintenance, have been the key factors of Techint’s success.
This project confirms Techint as worldwide specialized supplier of strategic material handling equipment & system of large capacity.
