you may also enquire with the national association of fire chiefs and ansul corporation to name a few organisations in addition to the US department of agriculture. Any insurance company involved with grain milling will also be a horn of plenty in your search. googling kitchen explosives will also give you a treasure trove. ■
Dust Explosions
My Bible on Dust Explosion is the following book:
"Dust Explosions; Course, Prevention, Protection", by W. Bartknecht, published by Springer-Verlag.
I have written several papers on this subject, but this book contains all of the information that you will need.

Re: Fire And Explosion Containment
All:
I have found the chilworth website very informational. Thanks to all the responders for the good leads. I also checked out the section on the this website for fires and explosions. If you haven't been there and your are interested in this subject... there is a ton of exellent info. I have been research this information for a reason. I will post some before and after pictures shortly of a dome that we built that had a large grain exposion. Don't want this to be a sales post - cause I am as guilty as the next guy for doing that, rather I hope it will be informational to all who view it. I hope that you will be as impressed as I am with the pictures. I will write up a little article to explain.
I will have them posted soon. ■
Dome Grain Explosion Pics
I decided to post this thread in the Fire & Explosion Protection - Safety Aspects Thread. It seemed a better fit there. And to avoid duplication let's move our discuss there. Hope that is ok.
I posted the pictures there with a little write up of what happend. If you are interested it is under the topic: Dome Grain Explosion - Before & After Pics. Thanks for your comments and look forward to more.

Fire and Explosion Containment
Anything that has been transformed into finely granulated particles can explode. Flour, Grain, Coal, and many other products are susceptible to fires and large explosions. I would love to get some feed back and any suggested sites or articles on this subject. Any information would be appreciated. ■
