The PSL ChargePoint high containment powder transfer system can achieve nanogram levels of containment. The fully actuated PSL ChargePoint system reduces the need for operator involvement to a minimum. When used in conjunction with an assisted lift, the fully actuated system will give complete automated docking, locking, opening, closing and undocking of the PSL ChargePoint.
The PSL ChargePoint Passive is attached to a container that is lowered down into the Active half of the valve. When docked the operator can be positioned out of the area if required. With a single push of a button, the passive is locked into position and the two halves of the disc are opened. Once the material is transferred then the operator can again push just one button to close and undock the unit.
By using an automated PSL ChargePoint in conjunction with a raise lower facility greater quantities of material can be handled and thus opening up Bulk Handling to easier control of dust exposure.
