About Sherwin Brown

A differentiation technique used while co-culturing iPSCs with a visceral endoderm-like cell line (END-2) is called inductive coculture. iPSCs are manually passaged as undifferentiated colonies onto END-2 culture platforms that have been mitotically inactivated according to this methodology. Since endoderm is essential for cardiac induction throughout heart development, END-2 cells' cardio-inductive signals cause cardiomyocytes differentiation from iPSC.
