Biography:
Studied mechanical engineering followed by a specialisation in Steel Structure Engineering.
I first explored the field of bulk handling 25 years ago, being employed for a Dutch contractor that fabricated cranes and conveyor systems. 15 years ago I worked as a representative for two German companies specialised in sand and graval, quarries and receicling equipment. I started my parttime own company early 2006. I still have a full time job with IBT International Bulk Handling Technology.
Know-how and experience:
I am specialised in throughed belt conveyor systems and pipe conveyors.
My special interest and knowledge is multiple drive and tension systems.
I have written an article in 2001 in Bulk Solids Handling under the title Optimizing the belt conveyor design with respect to belt tension, speed and idler configuration.
Another article of mine will be publisched in the august edition undert the title Improved Beltweighing Technique.
I work for IBT International bulk handling Technology BV but I have my own company i.s.t Innovatief in Stortgoed Techniek Innovativ in Schuttgut Technik which means Innovations in bulk handling technology
