Biography:
Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Bologna
Working since 1983 at the Institute of Mechanical Plant and Special Machines, now Department of Mechanical Engineering, at the University of Bologna. Full professor of Industrial Mechanical Plants, his main research
interests lie in multiphase flow engineering, industrial plants automation, automatic plant design and simulation, industrial processes control, high efficiency power plants and advanced waste-to-energy plants.
Know-how and experience:
Author of simulation programs for personal computer for solid-gas flow.
Designer of pneumatic conveying plants, dense and dilute phase, fluidised bed reactors (both pressured and atmospheric, fix, bubbling and circulating beds), by means of advanced simulation algorithms (TpSim *.*).
Designer of advanced pneumatic conveying plants for industrial research and development.
