Degree in Civil Engineering,
Paisley 1979
Worked in Civil Engineering Contracting in the Uk and Middle East. Over twenty years in GGBS manufacturing in the UK directing operations utilising ball mills, roller presses and VRMs for finish grinding.
Managing Director of a Remediation Contracting company.
Consultancy formed in 2010,offering business management services to SME organisations.
Member of the Institute of Directors, Fellow of the Concrete Society.

Know-how and experience:
For over twenty years I was involved in the design, building and operating of various types of blastfurnace slag grinding mills including ball mills, poller presses and VRMs.
I was involved with the first roller press used for finish grinding of GGBS anywhere in the world. This is still one of the most efficient mills anywhere.
