Born 1951 at Chennai, India
B-Tech from IIT Mumbai in 1974
MS from UTA, Texas in 1976
Worked in several medium and large metallurgical firms and foundries in manufacturing and technical marketing functions and rose to position of Unit Head.
Member of Institute of foundrymen, Calcutta and institute of Metals,Calcutta.
Hobbies are reading and classical music

Have been involved in material handling of sand and powder binders all through my career using all kinds of conveying equipment including pneumatic conveyors.
An Expert in Metallurgy and Foundry Engineering, I am presently a consultant to a number of companies including TISCO and the L&T group.
