Project / business overview

Manage mechanical group.

Key role objective

The principal function of this position is to:

Improve technical quality of mechanical engineering work by providing technical guidance for mechanical work and coordinate work of mechanical and electrical groups.

Key areas of responsibility

The priorities of this role include:

1.Provide technical guidance/direction for mechanical work

2.Serve as staff manager and resource manager for mechanical and electrical groups.

Minimum qualifications1.Working knowledge of ASME B31.3

2.Familiarity with piping layout, design, equipment and analysis

3.Experience in design of oil terminals, cryogenic and LNG terminals, and container terminals

4.Knowledge of FERC requirements

Key requirements

The ideal candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge. These points should align with the key areas of responsibility:

1.15+ years experience with B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and P.E. License

2.Strong leadership, responsiveness, and communication skills

3.Experience with budgeting and client liaison are required

4.Exposure to docks, wharfs and jetties for liquid bulk products
