Splitting A Twin Feed Into Three

It depends on your current layout but, presuming that the existing discharges are fairly close together and the new line can be taken from the centre, you could fit a variable speed screw feeder with left and right hand flights to collect a controlled amount of around 2.5 Te/hr from each discharge point and discharge to the centre. The 5 Te/hr balance of the feed rates will overspill the feeder inlets to the present collecting point.

For a more awkward layout you can use two separate feeders, in which case the potential is much more flexible.

A rougher approach would be to takes the existing discharges onto a shallow, flat chute and fit an adjustable diverter blade. However, transfer conveyors would then be needed to move the take-off to the location required, unless there is plenty of height available to do this by chute.

great...thanks for the advice.

I was also of the opinion to manage it with a chute/ hopper mechanism.
