Clay bricks are baked in a traditional way in most of the countries-stacking them high, interlaid with coal, saw dust, salt, etc and fired. This takes 2 days to bake the bricks.

We have been entrusted to design a continous drying/baking system.

The bricks when extruded has a mositure content of 15-20%.

Can anyone help me with the following clarifications?

1. What should be the soaking temperature / time in the drier to reduce mositure to 1-3%.

2. What should be the soaking temperature/time to bake the bricks??

Thank you in advance.

Mizun
