Structural Design of silos and bins
I am trying to design an elevated silo for seismic loads using the IBC code. I am analyzing it in two orthoginal directions due to certain non-symmetry in column bracing.
My question is whether the seismic pressure from the stored material is to be cosnidered radial or not . Any references
