I have been given the task of designing a screen to process 12.4 tonnes/hour i.e 56.2 lbs/minute of detergent, seperation material below of 500um, having used the vibrating screen calculations I keep obtaining unrealistic screen sizes, mainly I believe due to the basic capasity factor which I have been taking as 0.32.. Is this correct? This is my first experience with vibrating screens and would be very great ful for any help.

The particle range for the intial seperation is 80% undersize with 25% half size. material density is 900Kg/m^3 ■
