Hi Steve
Given the various cross cut profiles due the many idler manufacturers I highly doubt you would find an off-the-shelf manual sampler. You would be best to make your own.
We made one for every belt in the underground mill at the mine when we did a mass balance study there.

Thanks Gary,
I expected to need to make some, as I have done this before many years ago.
It would have made life easier to buy.
Perhaps there is an opening for someone.

Template sample equipment for static belt cut
First I apologise for using this method, but in the circumstances and time available there seems no better method to obtain a full cross cut from a belt.
I am fully aware of the limitations.
In future we hope to add some automated systems.
Does anyone know of a supplier of the templates shown in the attached image.
If not I will get some made.
