Recycling and Waste Management

Posted in: , on 30. Jul. 2011 - 21:03

TAIM WESER will take its waste treatment technology to two of the sector’s largest international trade fairs: Recycling and Waste Management, to be held from 13 to 15 September in Birmingham, United Kingdom, and ExpoRecicla 2011, to be held from 27 and 29 of the same month at Feria de Zaragoza, Spain.

The waste management and processing sector will meet this coming September in the British city of Birmingham, at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), where Recycling and Waste Management 2011 (RWM), the largest trade fair in this specialisation in Britain, will be held. TAIM WESER could not pass up this big international event, at which it will promote the main product lines of the waste processing side of its business. The company will present its systems and technologies and provide detailed information on its latest projects in waste processing, a sector in which TIAM WESER has a great deal of experience and know-how, as demonstrated by its string of facilities in operation all over the world. TAIM WESER will receive visitors at stand 2240, in Hall 19 of the enclosure.

As a world leader in waste processing technology, TAIM WESER will display its wide range of products and systems at the British event, including: composting and recycling plants for all types of materials, USW mechanical-biological processing systems, plants for the separation of recyclable materials and the biological treatment of the organic components, and also refining plants and plants for the production of refuse-derived fuel (RDF).

650 exhibitors are scheduled to take part at RWM and a large number of sector professionals are expected to attend. The new requirements and obligations for waste processing and management brought in by the British government has made the United Kingdom a highly attractive market for companies that supply this type of facilities, driving the sector’s expansion in Great Britain.

TAIM WESER at ExpoRecicla 2011

Also, from 27 to 29 September, TAIM WESER will once again market its solutions at the 3rd edition of the Feria Internacional de Recuperacin y Reciclaje Industrial, Gestin y Valorizacin de Residuos, ExpoRecicla 2011, to be held at Feria de Zaragoza. The company will have 40 m2 of exhibiting space, located at stand E/15-19 in Hall 1.

ExpoRecicla is a highly specialised event that brings together refuse collection professionals, authorised waste managers, recycling and processing centres and also environmental and corporate and institutional waste managers and technicians. 150 exhibitors from 7 countries and 8,000 professional visitors participated at the last edition in 2009. At this edition, in its Technical Seminars, it will deal in detail with the future Ley de Residuos y Suelos Contaminados (Law on Waste and Contaminated Soils)

Groundbreaking TAIM WESER technology in composting plants

One of the fields most developed by TAIM WESER is that of composting plants used to produce manure and biological fertilizer from vegetable waste, biological waste (hospital waste) and urban solid waste.

The company has two different technologies for different quantities of waste to be treated. For quantities of waste of between 5,000 tons and 50,000 tons/year, processing is carried out in composting tunnels, which include automatic feeding and discharge systems and a ventilation system. To treat larger quantities, from 35,000 tons to 1,000,000 tons/year, the process is carried out by stabilisation in trapezoid piles of waste in closed fermentation bays, with ventilation by aspiration and including a feeding system and an automatic tumbler with bucket wheel. In this process, the emission of noxious air to the atmosphere is prevented by sending the air captured inside the bay to a biofilters treatment.

Among the facilities of this type supplied by TAIM WESER, one of the most recent is the Centro de Tratamiento de Residuos del Valls Occidental, in Vacarisses (Barcelona). This is a complete plant for the maturing of the organic fraction of USW (MOW), with a capacity of 154,000 tons/year and which includes two automatic loading systems, two automatic tumblers, a discharge system and an aeration system. Another example is the Planta de Tratamiento de Residuos y Compostaje Los Hornillos de Quart de Poblet (Valencia), where the company is currently supplying a complete processing and composting facility for organic material, with the capacity to process 62,000 tons/year, including an automatic loading system, a discharge system and a ventilation system by aspiration for subsequent processing.

Turnkey waste processing solutions

The TAIM WESER group is highly experienced in the design, manufacture, supply and start-up of waste processing facilities. These range from individual devices such as feeders, mixers and drum screens, to complete turnkey facilities for materials recycling, vegetable waste refining facilities and refuse-derived fuel (WDF) production plants, all with performance guarantees.

One of the most important turnkey projects undertaken by TAIM WESER in Spain is the Ecoplanta in Zaragoza, in the Parque Tecnolgico del Reciclado (PTR), one of Europe’s largest and most modern integral waste processing facilities. The company provided this large technological complex with the systems necessary to carry out comprehensive processing in its various phases: reception area, pre-processing or primary processing, biomethanisation and composting area.

TAIM WESER is a Spanish group operating on a worldwide scale, specializing in high-technology turnkey projects. With installations in 59 countries and over one hundred years of experience, TAIM WESER provides solutions oriented towards streamlining industrial processes in a sustainable, environmentally friendly approach in the following sectors: bulk materials handling, lifting, waste treatment and renewable energy.

The company’s corporate headquarters are located in Zaragoza (Spain), where the facilities occupy a surface area of 64,000 m2, 23,500 of which are covered and assigned to production processes. In Germany, the group has a head office in Bad Oeynhausen and a branch office in Saarlouis and in Brazil, a plant in Curitiba.

Thanks to its proprietary technology and patents, the TAIM WESER group has become an international reference, present in all leading world markets, where it is noted for its excellent management resources. Recycle and waste management is essential for all. Because if this will not happen in a proper way then it may be hazardous for all. So it is very needful and should be done in proper way.

Hey! Thanks for this post.

Even... I am very proud to be associated with the products that can be recycled and used again and they do not pollute environment.

I think every human being should wake up and only use those products that can be recycled. Recycling also makes us teach the waste management which is really very necessary in today's age!
