Grinding Technology : super fine to ultra fine

Posted in: , on 29. Jun. 2007 - 19:04

dear all,

I produce super fine (325 mesh / 44 micron 99%) heavy calcium carbonat used 4 roller mill / pendulum mill made in China.

Now output 1250 kgs / hour, electric consumption +/- 90kwh.

I plan to upgrade / change our machine to high capacity, output, ultra fine & less consumption also less repair.

Which grinding technology is the best ?

Handaya

Stone Technology

Hi Handaya

In the old days of milling, we used to say that the mill-stone was still the best for ultra fines. It produced a lot better quality than the metal equivalent.

Dear Mr. Indah,

we have a special process for grinding Calcium Carbonate ultra fine with low energy costs and low maintanance costs.

The process is in a jet mill combined with a classifier in one.

So if you are interested in more inforamtion please let me know.

For more inforamtion about the jet mill please visit our web side: www.netzsch-condux.com.

For further information do not hesitate to contact me.

With our agitated media mill MaxxMill in continous dry operation we could do the same job at a total energy consumption of less than 40 kWh/t at very low wear rates and maintenance costs. Further more a fineness down to less than 5 µm would be possible with the same system.

Dear Mr. Handaya,

You may enquire about the possibility of suitability of ball mill or twin tube vibrating mill (filled with balls), for your application. This you can know by referring to the manufacturer of these items.

Dear Mr. Handaya,

For ultrafine GCC, we recommend to use the most efficient grinding mill "table rotating roller mill with internal multi-wheels classifier". It produces GCC from feed -10 mm to 325 mesh, 99.99% (D50=<4.0um) with output of 7.0 ton/hr, and the power consumption is approx. 50kwh/ton.

This mill is widely used in most leading GCC manufacturers in Asian countries such as China, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Taiwan, etc. If you are interested to become a professional GCC manufacturer (like Camco...), please contact with me via sigaliu@yahoo.com.

We are a Chinese local private company which is expertised in developing GCC wet-grinders and processing GCC slurry of all grades from filler to C65,C90,C95,C97,C98,C99.Our wet-grinder has a volume of 5000 litres. Two wet-grinders connected in series can have an output of about 10 dry tones per hour when processing filler(solids:68%).Three wet grinders connected in series can have an output of about 8 dry tones per hour when processing C65(solids:77%),and about 4.5 dry tones per hour when processing C95(solids:77%).We can offer you the whole processing system including slurry preparation, grinding, and screening. Our grinder is nearly the same as Wet-grinder from imerys, only that the price is greatly lower, and so it has a good cost efficiency.

For processing Filler, KWT/DT:65

For processing C95,KWT/DT:190-----Solids:77%

Dear Java,

My name is Mark Toman and I am the Director of Business Development for Classifier Milling Systems Corporation. You can view us online at www.cms-can.com for more information. However, briefly we are a size reduction and grinding technology company. We manufacture process equipment with many years of experience in the size reduction industry. At CMS we strive to earn our customer’s trust by supplying high quality equipment.

Our products are designed for reliable performance, easy maintenance, and energy efficiency. We have patented technology to most efficiently grind down particles to a uniform consistency, as well as reduce the amount of waste produced from the process. Whether it is offering a new system, designing additions to your existing operation, or simply supplying you with quality spare parts on time, we are looking to improve your company’s production, and profitability. At CMS we are committed to implementing and maintaining the highest standards of quality to ensure customer satisfaction.

We have expanded across the globe with projects in China and Brazil, among other places, ranging from the resource extraction industry to pharmaceuticals. Beyond the basic idea of grinding efficiency, we have also developed emission control technology with the capability of reducing excreted emissions to a fraction of your current levels.

I recently saw your post on the forum and thought that due to our expertise in the calcium carbonate industry specifically, we could help improve your company’s efficiency and costs, while also increasing production levels and therefore, profit margin. We are currently in negotiations with several large CaCO3 mining firms, and have effectively advised them on the best and most efficient ways to, both mine and grind their calcium carbonate, to the highest quality level of uniformly ground powder. Please feel free to email me back and let me know if you may be interested. I look forward to discussing the capability of supplying your company with our equipment and service. Your time and consideration is greatly appreciated.

You can contact me at anytime via email at m.toman@cms-can.com.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Mark Toman
