Pneumatic conveying has many applications in pharmaceutical industry. Because of the nature of these applications, pneumatic conveying systems must handle the product so that the product does not get contaminated and its size and shape does not change. These requirements are also applicable to food industry where pneumatic conveying is also widely used.
