Autoclaved Aerated Concrete ACC Particles

Dear Forum Members,

I would like to hear your comments for pneumatically conveying Autoclaved aerated concrete ACC particles sized 1mm.

Currently we have a conveying line of 5" for conveying lime(hydrated) and we would like to convey ACC particles via the same pipeline, and the same blower.

The capacity is 10.000kg/h and the distance is 105m (80m Hor. and 25m Vert. with 6 bends)

So the question is can I carry these particles with my current pipeline

Dear serdba,

Without a detailed description of the particle sizes, particle densities and bulk densities and the compressor data, it is not possible to answer your question.

In addition to your intention to convey Autoclaved aerated concrete ACC particles pneumatically, you have to consider whether the particles will not deteriorate too much.
