Make Them Safer!

FIBC's and closed vehicles are not very good partners. If only rear doors are available pallets need to be fitted under each bag. Without pallets somebody has to get inside the trailer and stay there to offer the loops to a forktruck driver. Both are working in the dark where a very dangerous pair of forks are maneuvering. If the cargo is at all hazardous the loop arranger is exposed to danger from product exposure, darkness, working at height and vehicle collision. With pallets the end user is responsible for returning pallets which should not have been necessary in the first place. FIBC logistics are a case of missing one bird with 2 stones. In their present form these bags have been lucky to last as long as they have. Any decent Health and Safety Officer , if there was such a thing, would have taken them to the cleaners long ago.

You can't argue with my criticism. A ladder is clearly seen in the photograph.

Do away with the pallets and you would be onto a hands down winner to take to Utticher Races.

Thanks for the reply and its nice to know that Uttoxeter Racetrack is still there.

A Lone (Loop) Arranger reminds me of William Tell and Tonto. Are you old enough to remember The Comedians?

Best of luck.
