RHEWUM Optical Sorting Machines, Type Datasort

For more than 50 years, RHEWUM has been involved in separating disperse products by means of screening. Based on this experience, a lot of our customers have expressed the wish for a material separation through a suitable sorting device.

The new concept of optoelectronic Sorting machines Type “RHEWUM Datasort” basis on the individual combination of proven components to suit utmost the requirements given.

Minerals passing the detection unit

It is possible to realise various sorting tasks (monochrome and true colour as well as single and double side view) with the same electronical devices combined with further proven standard components. By applying a true colour resolution in combination with a wide variety of separate filters it will be possible to detect surely parts which are non-recognisable even for the human eye.

Furthermore the electronic contains a self calibration of the lighting system, an integrated self-supervision of the sorting process as well as a learning mode, whereas the user is capable to define the sorting criteria’s by himself.

Application is the separation of minerals such as ores, feldspar, gypsum and limestone, non-ferrous metals, plastics, food, glass, salt besides the Pharmacy- and Waste Treatment-Industry.

The recently inaugurated Datasort technical centre offers our clients the possibility of optical sorting tests with their materials. By such tests we ensure the consequent sorting success in advance. The optimized results will be directly integrated into the design of a production facility. The optimized design will lead into a maximum of sorting severity under minimal production costs.
