Forged steel balls

Size available: 20-150mm

Material: B2, B2-1, B3,B4,B6,B6-1,BU,1090,70Cr2, 42CrMo,40Cr,65MN,60MN,50MN, etc.

Applications:

Grinding media for all kinds of mines, cement plants, power plants and chemical industries.

Forged steel balls have good surface quality, good impact resistance, strong toughness, good wear resistance, and are not easily broken and out of round.

Forging is a processing method that uses a forging machine to apply pressure to a metal blank to plastic deform it to obtain a forging with certain mechanical properties, certain shape and size.

Through forging, defects such as as-cast looseness occurred during the metal smelting process can be eliminated, and the micro-structure can be optimized. At the same time, due to the preservation of the complete metal streamline, the mechanical properties of forgings are generally better than those of castings of the same material.

Forged steel balls are not out-of-round or broken, with long service life and high cost performance.

Cast steel balls

Size available: 17-120mm

Material:

High Chromium Steel Ball

The chromium content: 10.0% Min.

Carbon content: 1.80% ~ 3.20%.

The hardness: 58HRC Min.

Impact value: 3.0j/cm2 Min.

High chromium steel balls must be quenched and tempered at high temperatures.

Medium Chrome Steel Ball

The chromium content: 3.0%~7.0%,

Carbon content: 1.80% ~ 3.20%.

The hardness: 47 HRC Min.

Impact value: 2.0j/cm2 Min.

Medium chromium steel balls should be tempered at high temperature to eliminate casting stress.

Low Chromium Steel Balls

The chromium content: 0.5%~2.5%

Carbon content: 1.80% ~ 3.20%.

The hardness: 45 HRC Min.

Impact value: 1.5j/cm2 Min.

Low chromium steel balls also require high temperature tempering to relieve casting stress.

Applications:

Grinding media for cement plants, chemical plants, power plants, quartz sand plants, silica sand plants, etc.
