Bolts For Attaching Buckets...

Posted on 7. Apr. 2003 - 03:37

Dear Sir:

Your best solution for fixing bucket elevators is to throw them out and to replace them with our "EleVeyor(R) Vertical Sandwich Belt Conveyors".

EleVeyor mean the virtual end of your maintenance problems. A recent survey among EleVeyor users indicated an average weekly maintenance time requirement of 15 minutes.

EleVeyor Systems cost more than bucket elevators, but they eliminate product degradation, production down-time, can handle damp, sticky products, follow bends on their vertical plane, offer multiple-infeed and discharge points - and all this with superior reliability and minimal maintenance requirements.

Have you ever tried "huck bolts" excellent concept, even torque values, no torque wrench needed and very good if you have problems with grade 5, grade 8 hardware snapping or breaking.

Just have a look at the number of moving parts in a sandwich conveyor with plenty of idlers in and the 4 bearings of a bucket elevator! With a properly designed elevator belt and the right fixing system you never face problems of loosing bolts! Our elevators usually run 24 hours a day 365 days a year under tough environmental conditions like cement and fertilizer plants without problems!

The only area where a sandwich conveyor may have certain advantages is for elevating sticky materials with very fine grain sizes like gypsum cake from desulphurisation plants!

Hello,

Some manufacturers have already contacted you. Possibly, more manufacturers will contact you on reading your requirement. Other option for you would be to search through websites of such bolt-nut manufacturers and contact them.

As for other items for bulk material handling; it is better to mention names of items of your interest such as idlers, pulleys, belt, gear boxes, electrical switches and so on.

Dear Mr. Mulani,

there's certainly merit in the added value of remarks and comments on a technical or technological level. So thank you very much for your engagement and shared knowledge.

My comment was aimed at the person who sort of saddled his reply to the old thread with a kind of advertising for the benefit of his company. This I considered needed information to the effect of contacting the forum administrator for his permission to do so.

Kind regards
