It would help us if you provided more information about your project

as we need to know the hopper rail cars length and the layout of the project

simply because there is no and I repeat no one size fits all answer with which

to offer you for this

1. your working capital

2. the sites location

3. drainage

a. depth of ballast

4. siding length from switch points to bumper or from switch to switch on the siding.

5. whether the loadout actually exists

6. is linear in design with NO curves

7. the ruling grade on the loadout siding

8. railroad guage size, is it narrow or standard????

9. weight of the rail per yard 85, 115, 125 165 pound per yard

10. do you have segmented rail with wooden ties or concrete ties?

About the hopper cars; are they belly dump or bathtub gondolas designed for

a rotary tippler.

Are the hopper cars equiped to the european standard with recoil bumpers or the

AAR couplers?

Help us to help us help you.
