In a cement silo you need at least 2 level testers.

1) high level tester, giving a signal that the feeding must be stopped and the silo loading system still can be emptied.

2) high/high level signal, giving a signal that stops the silo feeding automatically, leaving the silo loading system filled with cement.

These level testers are normally capacitive rod testers.

Do not forget a silo safety valve and a properly sized filter assembly.

The third level tester is an option, which can display the cement silo content.

This level tester can be a long wire capacitive tester.
