I was searching about some information related to two Way Pipe Conveyor (approx. 6 KM of length) with Coke (2500 TPH) on Carrying Side and Ash (1000 TPH) on Return Side.
I have searched over the internet and found some thesis on this subject. The basic scheme which was suggested is furnished below:
However, I'm looking for some information related to the followings:
1. Design approach for such pipe conveyor which may be inclined loaded at one side and declined loaded at another side
2. Drive configuration for such conveyor ( normally both end drive is preferred I have read) and control mechanism with master and slave relationship between two drives.
3. Take up requirement (automatic winch / normal winch / gravity take up)
4. Brake requirement.
Could you please provide your expert opinion on this?
