Dear all,

Hello, I am coal fired power plant engineer in south korea.

I know that overflow from coal settling pond includes harmful sediment such as heavy metal

So, each country has environmental regulations about it.

I heard that, by not following this regulation, it can make some problems for running of power plants in each country.

In south korea, overflow from coal settling pond have to transfer to ash pond.

So, I want to know about each country’s environmental regulations and guidelines of treatment for overflow from coal settling pond (Coal Runoff pond) or coal mining plant.

Regards,

Soonsung, Kwun

Hello,

You seem to have some insight into Korean regulations and are therefore looking for regulations where you hope to export.

Since you are are aware of the method for obtaining Korean standards you should be able to source precise standards for those countries were you wish to export.

Failing that, the applicable standards should be listed in the tender documents.

Asking for universal (each country's) regulations and guidelines will not bear much fruit. Perhaps there is an ISO standard, series 14000 seems a good place to start looking.
