Please send information and pricing. We want to measure Total Moisture of coal on a conveyor (in the range 4 to 15%). Do you also measure static situations - eg stockpiles? ■

Yes we can measure this contence of moisture in coal and we have quite a lot of application in the US. But the difference is that the US powerplants grind the coal to a granular to powder size which is optimal for the moisture measurement. In Germany or Norway for instance they feed the big lumps which you can only measure with a mecanical bypass, wher you have to grind the coal to be able to measure it.
If you want further information on this, please send us your complete address that we can send you further details. Do give you a rough idea. A moisture sesnor to hook ap direktly to a PLC or PC is about DM 4500,-.

If you have a good solution for on-line measurement of the moisture in dry sand, I am very interested.
This means moisture contents of 0.1 to 0.5 %. The measuring would be best done from a belt conveyor after the dryer. ■

We are already 25 years in the market.

If you are having trouble maintaing and controlling the moisture in your product, please contact us. Moisture Register Products has been in business since 1932 and we manufacture both on-line and portable moisture analyzers using NIR or RF. Our systems provide a 4-20 mA output that is proportional to the calibrated moisture. ■
