http://www.uow.edu.au/eng/bmh/explosion.htm
We took this video in our Labs (using 1 gram of al powder and a 1.2 litre explosion chamber)
we demonstrate this to our mech eng students

Paul,
Channel 10 had a news report on the Gunnedah pet food plant with video footage and eyewitness accounts, it can be purchased from their news room sales (Sydney).
The item went to air on Australia Day 2003, It is very effective in grabbing attention. ■

If you contacted the folks at Pillsbury milling they would be more than happy to help you, I am sure. ■
Dust and Powder Explosions
All,
I am interested in details and photographs of dust or powder explosions. Investigative reports would also be of use.
I require these to build up a log of examples for students and clients - to convince both that dust and powder explosions do happen in the real world.
Cheers
