Beltcon 16 will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa, on 2/3 August 2011.

You are invited to submit your proposal for the presentation on a topic which would be of interest to all involved with conveying of bulk materials by means of conveyor belt.

Winning technology promoting the excellence of belt conveying

CALL FOR PAPERS

The International Materials Handling Conference (IMHC) invites authors and speakers to submit papers on topics relating to belt conveying for presentation at the next Beltcon conference. The objective of the conference is to present new ideas and technology.

The Beltcon Conference and Exhibition is regarded as the leading international conveyor event and is to be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, on August 3-4, 2011.

This conference has been held every two years over the last thirty two years! It has earned a well deserved reputation as the reference point for information sharing, discussion of new developments in the industry, and the latest in design, research and case studies presented by world renowned academics and leaders in the field of belt conveying. Delegates attending the conference are eligible for credits in ECSA’s Continuous Professional Development.

Submission Criteria

Only papers that meet stringent quality standards are accepted. Papers should contain new and unpublished material. Papers presented elsewhere prior to Beltcon 16 will not be accepted. No advertising or commercial publicity to be included.

The conference is conducted in English and there are no translation facilities. Speakers should thus be proficient in the English language.

Paper Schedule The success of the conference relies on strict adherence to the schedule below.

A brief synopsis to be submitted no later than September 15, 2010. Authors advised of acceptance by September 30, 2010. Complete papers to be submitted by January 16, 2011.

Final papers will be reviewed in early 2011, in preparation for Proceedings printing by June 30, 2011.
