Fan Output Position

Dear Friends

enclosed you will find three output position of fan, i want to know which one is better and usual for dust collector meanwhile our bag filter located in flat area without any shelter.

if anyone know about advantage and disadvantage of these types please tell.

There are no differences in the operation of the fan. It comes down to which one best suits your installation.

Option 3 is the preferred position. You would have to make allowance for additional losses in Op.2. Op.1 is O.K but rain will enter the fan casing.

The inlet duct arrangement is important also. What does it look like?

Fan Outlet Position

You seem to have a bend at the fan inlet. Make this a long radius one. Better, ask the exhaust fan supplier to recommend the optimum arrangement.
