OMEC Technology Co. Ltd. appoints Pulver Technology Ltd. European Distributor; attends POWTECH 2005 in Nürnberg, Germany 11-13th October, 2005 Stand No. 10-533
OMEC Technology Co. Ltd. (Zhuhai, P.R. China) and Pulver Technology Ltd. (Madresfield, U.K.) have entered into an agreement whereby Pulver Technology will distribute OMEC’s range of particle size analysers, counters and image analysis systems in the European market. The agreement comes into force with immediate effect with both companies attending the POWTECH 2005 International Trade Fair in Nürnberg on the 11-13th October, 2005. At the fair, OMEC and Pulver Technology will exhibit the LS-POP(VI) entry level particle size analyser for the first time in Europe. (Stand No. 10-533)
OMEC is the market leader in the manufacture and supply of particle sizing instrumentation to the Chinese market. Based in Zhuhai, south of Guangdong province and located conveniently close to Hong Kong, OMEC serves the rapidly expanding Chinese market for particle characterisation systems. Pulver Technology’s appointment follows a strategic decision to actively export their systems in Europe for the first time.

OMEC Technology Co. Ltd was founded in 1993 by Mr. Li Zhao Bin and Dr. Albert Zhang. The company is based in Zhuhai, a city in Guangdong province in the south of China. The company is the market leader in particle size analysers in China in addition to manufacturing a range of micro-abrasive grits for use in precision manufacturing applications. Employing over 150 people, the company is located on a site with 35,000 m2 of space devoted to R&D and 66,700 m2 to manufacturing. Dr. Albert Zhang leads the company’s development efforts. Dr. Zhang is a leading expert in particle size analysis in China, a director of the Chinese Society of Particuology and vice chairman of its Particle Measurement Committee.
Pulver Technology Ltd. has been founded by Dr. Terry Cooper to distribute innovative products from Chinese suppliers in the European market. Dr. Cooper has over 25 years experience in test and measurement equipment. Prior to founding Pulver Technology, Dr. Cooper was Sales Director of Freeman Technology, suppliers of powder rheometer systems. He has also held senior sales and marketing positions with Malvern Instruments and was General Manager of their German subsidiary.
