Anti Static Fibc

Bulk Handling Australia have their own proprietary static disipative fabric "Ex-Static (TM)" for type "D" bags. Has an MIE of 0.12mJ and less. Has been tested and certified by the Wolfson Electrostatics Institute UK.

Ex-Static can supplied in various weights, the static dissipative mechanisms are permanent and will not weather.

Hello all,

Sauquoit Industries, the worlds leading supplier of PLATFORM BASED PRODUCTS based in Scranton,PA,U S A producing a range of fine denier, Conductive, continuous filament products, supported with polypropylene carrier yarns for permanent protection against ESD events.

Triboelectric charging during loading and unloading of FIBC has proven to be a potential safety hazard.X-SATIC conductive filaments are metallized silver nylon yarn, which collect and ground static charges before they present any hazards. X-Static yarn can be placed in pathways within the FIBC fabric and properly grounded.

Our yarns are a proven and successful method of imparting ESD protection in ground (or earthed) FIBCs. To facilitate the weaving process, we offer several filaments configurations, all of which are recommended for this application.

We offer products for all kinds of bags such as "C" & "D" and for application into body of the bag, Straps, grounding seam tapes, sewing threads and conductive fillers.

X-Static filament products are totally recyclable. The extremely small amounts of silver and nylon completely mix within a remelting operation or may be incinerated without difficulty. X-Static meets both the letter and sprit of recycling efforts.

These filament products are packaged on disposable plastic spools (beamettes), and disposable cones. The most popular package is the plastic beamette, holding 12,000 meters of yarn (end count and denier being the controlling factors).

Above all, X-Static conductive yarns provide the most efficient system of controlling ESD problems and providing long term protection at the most competitive prices.
