I seem to remember circa 1970 synthetic bucket elevator belts were finally replacing cotton duck belts. ■

It is my understanding that this is required for the most effective water absorption by the cotton as the belt travels through a cooling trough.
Fabric is CC400 rating.

I am looking for information on any suppliers of cotton fabric. Must be raw (untreated and no artificial fibres).
