K-Tron To Exhibit New Solution

to Prevent Bridge Building of Cohesive Bulk Materials

(Niederlenz/Switzerland, January 23, 2008)— The K-Tron Process Group will show K-Trons latest invention, the ActiFlow, at Anuga FoodTec in Hall 10.1, booth G065. ActiFlow reliably prevents bridge building of cohesive bulk materials in stainless steel hoppers. For the majority of difficult flowing materials, ActiFlow will make common arch breakers obsolete when used in "loss in weight" ( gravimetric ) feeding applications. It is completely maintenance free and has no product contact.

The new K-Tron Premier brand will be represented with the 2415 powder & pellet receiver with a new series 4 controller as well as a pharma version of the P30 vacuum receiver.

The 2410 is designed to handle powder, pellet, regrind or granular materials in the chemical, food and plastics industries. The 2410 receiver is available in either aluminum or stainless steel construction.

K-Tron’s P-Series vacuum sequencing receivers have been redesigned to the same finish standards as K-Tron’s line of weigh feeders. As part of the redesign, the modularity of the P-Series receivers was improved through the introduction of extension modules to increase the receiving volume.

The K-Tron booth will feature the new multiple feeder/single line operator interface for the KCM. K-Vision, as the new feeder operator interface is called, will feature multi-language support, including Chinese, and a selectable quad screen feature.

Other equipment models on display will include a KT20 pharma feeder combined with a Dinnissen sieve and a Smart Weigh Belt feeder.
