TENOVA SEMF (Australia) obtained the Certificate of Acceptance for a radial stacker

Tenova SEMF, the Australian Bulk Material Handling Company of Tenova, has recently awarded the Certificate of Practical Completion for the Radial Coal Stacker designed and supplied for the Wilpinjong mine located near Mudgee in the mid-western regional area of New South Wales.

The Wilpinjong Mine is a new stand alone site that was developed under the Project Management of Thiess Sedgman Joint Venture (TSJV) on behalf of Excel Coal.

The Stacker is 90 metres in overall length pivoting on a fixed bearing at ground level and rising 20 metres vertically to the discharge chute at an angle of inclination of 15 degrees.

The Stacker is fitted with a telescopic discharge chute and the stockpile forming operation is fully automated through the PLC controller.

The nominal operating capacity of the machine is 1,800 tons per hour.

The project met all of the Client’s expectations with regards to time schedule, costs and performances and is operating to his complete satisfaction.
