SEA opto-electronic colour sorting system

SEA colour sorting equipment recognises particles with undesired colour or colour deviation and sorts these out entirely automatically.

SEA colour sorting can also be used to make visual checks on food. Aside from foreign substances, it also recognises particles that do not meet quality standards due to being spoiled, faded or unpeeled.

The SEA opto-electronic colour sorting systems enable maximum sorting efficiency and colour quality with minimum losses of good material.

SEA colour sorting equipment sorts out colour contamination from bulk products such as:

• Plastic granulates

• Ground plastics material

• Recycled materials

• Rice

• Cereals

• Coffee

• Leguminous crops

• Nuts

• Dried vegetables

• Various dried fruits

• Other bulk materials exhibiting colour differences

SEA colour sorting systems offer the following advantages:

• Optical recognition of foreign bodies and products differing in colour

• Transparent products can also be recognised and sorted

• Separation efficiency up to more than 99%

• Easy product change by means of simple program selection

• Low good material loss

• Trouble-free use in harsh environments

• High throughput

• Low sorting costs

hamos supplies SEA colour sorting equipment for different throughputs up to 8,500 kg/h, with 4 to 155 channels, in different versions and ideally adapted to each application.

It is of course possible to make a separation trial in order to show you which quality improvements can be achieved through colour separation.
