A contract was recently signed between PHB Weserhutte based in Gijon, Spain and Techint Technologies for the design and supply of three (3) pipe conveyors to be installed in the BP (British Petroleum) Coke Handling System Plant in Castellon (Valencia-Spain).
The 3 pipe conveyors carry green coke at a nominal capacity of 170 t/h while the design capacity is 195 t/h. Techint's scope of work consists in the complete design of the 3 conveyors (pipe diameter 250 mm), the supply of the whole structure and of the main mechanical components (rubber belt, cleaners, pulleys, idlers and drive units).
The whole supply is scheduled to be at site within July 2007.
