Cement seller is asking for a 30% deposit from buyer is that right?

Buyer is asking seller to put a 10% bond without having to deposit.

So in this case what is the actual thing to do between the 2 party.

If Seller is not Factory , don't do !

Normal way : Factory asks always 30% prepayment and 70% of Loading ( China ). Sometimes 100% Prepayment . ( Russia - Ukraine )...

10% of PB , is stupid ...

yes there are many people out there trying to sell cement that don't have a clue,

as for people asking for bcl and loi at the start we have had so many want this but we insist on soft offer first , and we don't all ways want to give bcl as this can be used for someone to get credit , we rather give rwa which is better anyway.

we also have people asking for three months bank guarantee are they crazy or what , that can be as much as 150,000,000 frozen in buyers account.

we know why they do this its as people order cement for a year then stop the contract after a month , you see they are getting a really good price for such a large amount of cement, say 3,000,000 mt then stop the order , you see then the three month guarantee would help the seller that way. ■
