After building several hundred domes, we have learned techniques that are efficient, simple and mesh well with the overall construction process.

The concrete domes are a fascinating structure. With the combination of the shape, materials and the process, our domes have some outstanding features which include the following:

The monolithic concrete dome is probably the strongest building that can be built with a specific amount of time and materials. This means it has very high resistance to the natural forces of earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods.

With a totally seamless layer of polyurethane insulation, sandwiched outside of the concrete and under the roof membrane, the dome becomes about the most energy efficient building available. A 50% more savings of energy cost can easily be attained over a conventional building.

Domes can be very large and they are totally clear span. They do not require internal supports that complicate the interior design.

Our domes are constructed very fast and they are economical to build.
With the exterior protection of polyurethane insulation and the waterproof roof membrane, the steel reinforced concrete dome will not weather or decay. The life span of these buildings will be measured in centuries.
