bucket wheel stacker cum reclaimer balancing problem

Dear Experts,

One of my bucket wheel stacker cum reclaimer is under commissioning stage. It having 'c' frame structure design having two hinge point one for boom and another one for counterweight boom, The luffing motion through hydraulic cylinders attached at counter weight boom side.

Now my problem is after erecting the Deadweights ballast(counter weight) as per design calculations my hydraulic cylinder showing all most double pressure then calculations. We all ready checked all the dead weight of boom, boom equipment's, counter weight and other ancillary item, that is confirming to design weight. We once again check all stability and balancing calculations which also found satisfactory.

Now what should i do?? Can i take this pressure reading as inerrant feature or should i have to increase the deadweight ballast? what is the best suggestion for Machine life and operation?

Hello,

Conceptually, the machine upper portion is a structural construction arrangement, wherein piston cylinder is also a member of the whole arrangement. Your structural designer can find out the presence of occurring force in 'piston cylinder member', due to various forces acting on the whole frame. The pressure in the piston cylinder will be corresponding to the force value therein as a member. I think this information may help your mechanical and structural engineer to solve the issue that is, whether the expected pressure is incorrect or some other reason.
