General Description of Position:

The Kansas State University Polytechnic campus in Salina is seeking a post-doctoral fellow to support the Bulk Solids Innovation Center. This position will assist the research director in conducting sponsored research to include material properties and flow testing as well as conduct and/or assist with relevant basic and applied research related to bulk solid material handling. This position will also assist in the development and delivery of training courses as needed. The balance of assignments will be determined by the research manager in accordance with the center's needs and the skills of the selected candidate.

This is a full-time, benefits eligible assignment. May require some travel off site.

Job Description:

Conduct and/or assist with short course development and delivery at/for the Bulk Solids Innovation Center as directed by the research director



Conduct and/or assist with contract testing and sponsored research at the Bulk Solids Innovation Center as directed by the research director



Conduct basic and/or applied research in bulk solid material handling as time allows and as directed by the research director



Teach relevant academic courses



Other duties as assigned to promote the development of the Bulk Solids Innovation Center
